BANDA DEL MES - NEVERMIND NESSIE

Si los Black Tartan Clan son los Dropkick Murphys belgas, simplificando mucho los Nevermind Nessie son los Flogging Molly belgas (más que nada porque no tienen gaita y sí acordeón y violín).

Son un grupo joven y fresco, me recuerdan en parte a los In Search of a Rose. Más sólidos que los italianos Dirty Artichokes, miran hacia Firkin o Paddy and the Rats, aunque todavía no tienen ese toque especial de los húngaros. Una banda interesante que conviene seguir de cerca.

Este es un directo de Ceili Moss grabado en Noviembre de 2004 en la ciudad belga de Binche, famosa por su Carnaval.

Otro pequeño país en el corazón de Europa. País con tres lenguas oficiales (francés, flamenco y ... alemán) y punto de encuentro de los mandamases europeos. El recopilatorio empieza por la banda más potente para acabar con dos grupos con varios trabajos en el mercado, pero con un toque menos salvaje.

Los Black Tartan Clan viene de Amberes y hacen un folk punk gaitero muy interesante. Por ahora sólo han editado una demo y un album, pero seguro que llegan lejos.

A continuación presentamos a McBee's Brewery. En el país de las infinitas cervezas, tenía que haber una fábrica de zumo de cebada que hiciese un Punk Celta fácil de beber, y esa es la de McBee. Por el momento están empezando, de modo que nos tenemos que contentar con los temas de su demo.

La tercera banda ya tiene varios discos editados. Se llaman Cluricauns y en un principio estaban influenciados por el Folk Punk británico tipo Levellers, para posteriormente desarrollar un sonido propio.
